The program Privilege Student Ventures is an initiative supported by several entrepreneurs, managers and companies, aimed at offering incredible opportunities and support for talented students from universities in Ticino and Lombardy. The program involves two groups of students selected from the universities of Lugano and Milan. Throughout the course, each student is supervised by a dedicated mentor with whom he or she can engage regularly. This is complemented by webinars and meetings held by various experts who can share their expertise on specific topics.

Selection
The program begins with a rigorous selection process to identify students with an excellent academic record, leadership potential and a passion for entrepreneurship.
Mentoring and Guidance
Selected students are matched with experienced mentors from different sectors pertaining to the venture capital world, who provide advice, counsel and support along the way. Mentors support students on a monthly basis through research and analysis of startups in the ecosystem, thereby educating on best practices of effective due diligence.
Webinars
The program offers a series of webinars that focus on various aspects of entrepreneurship and venture capital. Students learn from industry experts and successful entrepreneurs who share their knowledge, experience, and best practices.
Investment
Each team of students had the opportunity to prepare investment memos on selected startups and present them to the Board of Trustees to which they presented the rationale behind one of the companies’ willingness to invest.

On May 23, 2024 in the setting of Dagora Lifestyle Innovation Hub in Lugano, we celebrated the second year of the Privilège Student Ventures program supported by the Privilège Foundation, dedicated to training tomorrow’s investors and entrepreneurs while actively supporting the ecosystem.
